For 3rd time, Woods cancels meeting with police
Associated Press
November 29, 2009 Tiger
Woods finally gave his side of the story Sunday — on his
Web site, not to police—and took the blame for an
“embarrassing” car crash that gave him cuts, bruises and
public scrutiny like never before.
His statement failed to clear up any questions about the
middle-of-the-night accident outside his Isleworth
estate in which his wife told police she used a golf
club to smash the back windows of the Cadillac SUV to
help him out.

local people who are blaming them for taking their jobs. The persecution, which forced about 2,000 migrants
to seek refuge in a rugby stadium, began on Tuesday when
the migrants' shacks in a farming community in De Doorns
were levelled.
Local residents say they are tired of competing with
Zimbabweans for space and jobs.

WHAT NEXT FOR THE LIBERIAN MANDINGOES? By: Sekou
Kenneh, Sr. Opinion Leader
November 12, 2009 Over
the past years, as we continue to gaze the way politic
is being played today, it has become apparent that the
modern politic is no longer a question of qualification
or political superiority. It's all about electabilities
and what they called "A QUID PRO QUO or TIT FOR TAT".
Metaphorically, "a trade-deal".
Therefore, as dynamic as politic becomes, it is about
time for us to consider opening ourselves to change our
(M.O) modus operandi with respect to Liberian politics.
I think it will be politically expedient for us the
Liberian Mandingoes to second guess ourselves and see
the need for us to transform our methods of persuading
our political objectives. We must acknowledge the fact
that no one will protect our interests, but ourselves.

Obama still was working on his speech as he flew to
Texas on Tuesday for a memorial service five days after
the shooting that left 13 dead and 29 wounded on the
bustling Army post. Military families and civilians
alike gathered for the ceremony, some wearing red, white
and blue ribbons in honor of those slain.

unity cabinet, saying he wants to give the body time to
work out its difficulties.
Morgan Tsvangirai boycotted the government three weeks
ago after accusing the country's president, Robert
Mugabe, of not implementing the power-sharing agreement
and sanctioning the harassment of opposition MDC
supporters. Tsvangirai's decision on Thursday followed a
meeting in Maputo, Mozambique, with members of the
